The Travel Business Development team works with our landlords across our Travel business. With all kinds of stores at stations, airports and hospitals – from small kiosks to flagship airport stores – it’s an on-going challenge to renew existing contracts and negotiate new ones. The team is constantly looking for ways to grow the business, creating new formats and developing current ones. That way, WHSmith will remain as relevant today and in the future as we have been for the past 225 years.
Our High Street Commercial Development team works with Post Office franchises, Costa Coffee concessions, in-store ATMs, having thought up all of these ventures and more. This team explores opportunities outside our core categories, creating all-new sales and income streams. We’re open to any ideas, as long as they fit with our values.
