As an Agile Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for supporting delivery of strategic commercial initiatives as an Agile Coach / Scrum Master.

What you’ll do

  • Work with cross functional squads, nurturing them to take ownership for their delivery processes and value driven outcomes. 
  • Coach the squad to improve efficiency and quality by evolving their application of agile and lean practices. 
  • Collaborate with Product Leads to support the continual review and management of delivery roadmaps and backlogs. 
  • Apply a structured and transparent approach to planning and delivery, monitoring progress, reacting to change, coordinating with other teams on dependencies and ensuring all relevant parties are aware of the teamsprogress. 
  • Be an active participant and facilitator of important team events (e.g planning & retrospectives) prompting timely discussion and decision making, ensuring everyone participates and handling conflict resolution. 
  • Actively remove, or guide the squad to remove, impediments and waste to achieve a smooth and sustainable workflow. 
  • Build a safe and positive environment where problems can be raised and learned from, without fear of blame, retribution or being judged. 
  • Use agile metrics to inspect the team's current performance and identify areas and sustainable methods for adaptation in the pursuit of continuous improvement. 
  • Ensure we are scaling Agile within our business, ensuring that the benefits are raised across different teams and projects

Who you are

  • Demonstrable knowledge or various Agile/Lean principles, frameworks and tools and experience working with software development teams in a fast-paced delivery environment. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to connect with people - an expert influencer and positive role model. 
  • Proven track record of enabling data-driven continuous improvement with teams of various levels of maturity. 
  • Be proactive and flexible, with excellent facilitation and coaching skills. 
  • Proficiency with tools and software such as JIRA, Confluence and Miro. 
  • Track record of managing multiple projects at a given time of varying scale, size, and complexity
  • Experience managing numerous date critical projects at any given time
  • Methodical, organized individual with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to influence cross functionally and manage upwards
  • Experienced in managing Stakeholders at all levels of the business, managing expectations and issues effectively
  • You empower individuals and teams to take ownership and make decisions, fostering a culture of autonomy
