We now have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join our High Street Finance team at our Support Centre in Swindon. 

The main purpose of a Credit Controller is to perform general day to day accounting tasks and support the Accounts team.

What you will be doing

• Allocation of cash receipts
• Deduction of debt where possible
• Updating of aged debt reports, chasing debt and liaising with suppliers over queries
• Credit checks and approvals on new AR accounts
• Attending aged debt meetings with all WHS Businesses
• Updating cash tracker daily at half year and year end
• Implementation of system improvements
• Forecasting of cash receipts against income
• Raising of credits and re-raising invoices for corrections

What we are looking for

• You will have previous similar experience gained from a fast-paced Accounts environment
• You will be numerate and have an analytical mindset, with excellent attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills are required, teamed with excellent communication skills
• You will be a proficient user of Excel and have knowledge of performing Vlookups
