The primary function of the Merchandising team is to ensure stock and availability for stores to drive sales and contribution. We are currently seeking a Distributor to allocate the right stock, to the right location, in a timely manner within agreed timescales/budget.

The Accountabilities
Ensure purchase orders are raised within budget constraints * Purchase order management & tracking * Deliver Store and Distribution Centre (DC) availability targets / service levels by stock category * Set up and manage replenishment methods and supply chain for Distribution Centre (DC) and Stores * Execute stock exit plans (e.g. recalls, return to vendor, etc) * Liaise and communicate with Suppliers and Distribution Centre’s

The Requirements for the Role
Recent Graduate or relevant experience in Logistics/ supply chain role * Understanding of replenishment & allocation methods * Intermediate Excel & Analytical skills * Ability to identify trends, ability to consider the impact of your actions (eg. Cost/stock) *Team player, ability to work to tight deadlines
