The Junior Merchandiser will manage the flow of stock to our International stores to deliver optimal availability, sales and profit. You will also be responsible for reviewing sales profiles and demand to maximise sales and minimise problem stock and complete range analysis to identify opportunities for sales/stock optimisation.

What you will be doing:

• Management of stock and availability across stores and DC to ensure optimum availability and sales performance
• Reviewing weekly forecast profiles, adjusting to reflect seasonality and promotional activity in conjunction with the Merchandiser
• Reviewing of the delivery performance and engagement with key stakeholders to resolve & communicate issues
• Distribution centre and logistics communication & relationship management
• Being a key point of contact for store queries, and building relationships with operational managers to gain feedback for informed decision-making
• Calculating and creating purchase orders
• Supplier liaison & forecasting, including resolving and escalating issues
• Working cross functionally with buyers, display planning & operations to ensure excellent promotion and new range execution
• Generating performance reports to drive activity to optimise sales and stock holding
• Supporting the continuous development of processes and procedures to drive efficiencies in the department

What we are looking for:

• Experience in numerical focused role where in contact with a large amount of data to analyse
• Excellent organisational ability and strong attention to detail
• Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills, time management and prioritisation
• Someone who leads and develops a positive culture with the team and has good interpersonal skills and great stakeholder management
• Previous experience in using Relex would be desirable
