The role of an International Logistics Administrator is to provide administrative support within the Logistics Team at our Support Centre in Swindon. The Logistics team looks after the stock movements from our UK and EU DC’s to our stores.
What you will be doing:
- Producing accurate export documentation, in a timely manner, for deliveries to International stores from UK and EU DC’s to allow for the smooth delivery of stock across borders.
- Booking and controlling stock movements between external warehouses and consolidation centres or stores
- Monitor and track timely arrival of deliveries to stores
- Releasing orders for the EU DC within the timescales agreed with business and logistics partner
- Compiling the Country of Origin database
- Liaising with external suppliers regarding delivery queries
- Compiling and issuing daily and weekly reports
- Answering store and support centre queries
- Supporting the International Logistics Team by maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting the International Logistics Team with other administrative tasks as required
What we are looking for:
- Strong retail with strong administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Outlook)
- Excellent organisational ability and a key eye for detail
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills, time management and prioritisation
- Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers
