The RoleWe now have an exciting opportunity for an International Logistics Co-ordinator to join our Logistics team at our Support Centre in Swindon. The Logistics team looks after the stock movements from our UK and EU DC’s to our stores. The role of an International Logistics Co-ordinator is ensuring stock is moved efficiently to our stores while adhering to customs requirements. You will be instrumental in ensuring stock gets to stores through careful planning and interaction with our third party logistics providers.

Ensure that the paperwork for deliveries to International stores from all DC’s is accurate and sent in a timely manner to relevant parties to allow for the smooth delivery of stock across borders.

Where issues arise, can create the right focus and review, involving the relevant parties from DC’s, Stores and across the business to enable quick issue resolution.

Responsible for the tracking of International and InMotion stock from picking, through despatch to store deliveries, feeding back on issues and understanding how to investigate and resolve problems.

Understand the whole process for International Shipping and can pick up the paperwork and tracking for holiday cover.

What you'll do

• Agree the store orders to be picked by the DC’s with the Merchandising Teams taking account of business priorities.
• Production of accurate export documentation, in a timely manner, for deliveries to International stores from UK and EU DC’s to allow for the smooth delivery of stock across borders.
• Management of issues by involving the relevant parties from across the business to enable quick issue resolution.
• Tracking of stock from picking, through despatch to store deliveries, feeding back on issues and understanding how to investigate and resolve problems
• Liaise with external logistic companies to arrange collection and tracking of stock to support the International recall process.
• Booking and controlling stock movements between external warehouses and consolidation centres or stores
• Work with DC’s, Transport and partners to track consignments throughout the supply chain and feedback any delays/concerns.
• Manage the logistic operations and network for InMotion stores, ensuring successful weekly deliveries into stores, meeting strict deadlines for new store set up and product launches.
• Managing the recall process of high value stock exiting InMotion stores and returning back to suppliers. Working across multiple internal departments and external suppliers to ensure stock is returned safely and within timeline.
• Compiling and issuing daily and weekly reports
• Provide holiday cover for other members of the International Logistics Team

Who we're looking for

• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Outlook)
• Knowledge of international and Distribution Centre processes a bonus – not a must have - good administration skills
• Keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workloads
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and be adaptable within a fast paced environmentAbility to have difficult conversations and challenge the process and people where appropriate and the ability to influence cross functionally
• Good relationship builder
• Flexibility to work working hours / patterns and location if required
