Location; Swindon Support Centre (hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office)

Fixed Term Contract – 32 hours over 5 days

About the role

We’re seeking a creative, curious, and proactive People Administrator to join our High Street People team, based at our Support Centre in Swindon.

In this role, you’ll be supporting our High Street Support Centre and Stores providing a wide range of HR and general administration activities. As a business we are fast paced; and our People team is no different. You’ll have to be comfortable managing a variety of tasks with ever changing priorities and tight deadlines; so, utilising your own initiative and drive to be successful is key. Key responsibilities will include;

  • General HR Administration including the issuing of internal appointment letters & contracts, Right to Work administration, tracking of secondments, probationary & induction management, email inbox management and Talent & Development support
  • Working in conjunction with the Payroll team to ensure accuracy of payroll for all Store Leaders, ensuring data is kept up to date at all times
  • Working closely with the Talent Acquisition team and People Partners to ensure effective onboarding & inducting of new colleagues joining the business
  • Supporting the management of and compliance to People practices for our Stores employees e.g. absence management, probationary periods, leavers, maternity leave etc

  • Previous high-volume admin experience from a similar environment
  • Strong administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work at pace
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to interact with people at various levels
  • Competent in use of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint including Intermediate level of Excel
