The role of the Receptionist is truly cross-functional – you will be right at the centre of the business, an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office and setting a great first impression with visitors and staff.

What you will be doing:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, managing their arrivals, offering refreshments, and ensuring a welcoming reception area.
  • Handle general inquiries, emails, and phone calls with professionalism; oversee visitor management and security compliance.
  • Assist the Office Manager with administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and office systems management.
  • Manage office supplies, inventory, and orders; assist with onboarding new staff and preparing necessary materials.
  • Handle mail, parcels, and courier deliveries, and maintain an organized post room; assist with office equipment and facility maintenance.
  • Oversee kitchen stock, restock supplies, and ensure the cleanliness and functionality of kitchen appliances and communal areas.
  • Provide support and coverage for office and facilities management during the Office Manager's absence.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a receptionist, office administrator, or similar role in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and approachable demeanour. 
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). 
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude with excellent problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
