Sales Assistant - WHSmith - Edinburgh Airport

WHSmith Edinburgh Airport Team pride themselves on delivering amazing results. We will support you, your journey with us and help build your career within WHSmith. We have seven shops across the estate and we’re exceptionally busy, so our customers require a speedy and efficient service with a warm and welcoming smile.

We are looking to recruit VERY CONFIDENT, HIGH ON ENERGY industrious people whom have GREAT COMMUNICATION SKILLS and posses the ability to work under their OWN INITIATIVE to achieve targets and drive the business forward while maintaining exceptional standards.

Positions are offered on a three month probationary period and if successful you will then be offered a permanent contract.

Current vacancies

• 39 hrs vacancies
• Shifts between 4am to 1pm & 1pm to 10pm. (Full Flexibility required this means you must be able to work both shifts.)

Airport Requirements:

• 5 years continuous references – to gain an airport pass you will need to provide 5 years’ worth of either employment or education references without any gaps
• Criminal Records Bureau Check – to be completed by WHSmith if your application is successful
• Photographic ID i.e. passport or UK Driving Licence
